Based in the Chicago metropolitan area, Natya Dance Theatre maintains four program areas: A school that teaches scores of young people and adults from all over the US; A professional touring company that has appeared in prominent venues throughout the Chicago region, the nation, and the world; A presenting series that brings prominent Indian and other international dancers to the Chicago metropolitan area; and An outreach program that provides educational programs and performances to community organizations for nominal fees or free-of-charge.
