"Your group brought an irresistible combination of expression, energy and professionalism to the event. We hope that you will continue to discover the museum in the future and that we can call on you for your expertise, especially in the realm of our educational programs." Sudarshan Belsara, Associate Museum Educator, Peabody Essex Museum
NDT has a highly acclaimed Outreach Program that presents nearly 40 programs every year to over 20,000 people in schools and universities, museums, libraries, and community organizations.
The Outreach Program brings Bharata Natyam to life and engages people of all ages in reduced-fee or free of charge programs, with programs that are tailored specifically to the needs of each individual school or organization. Natya deepens the educational experience at each and every performance by means of accompanying English language lecture-demonstrations and extensive program notes. The result is that all audiences, no matter their background, have an enjoyable and connected artistic experience.
Program options include:
- Performances for ensemble or full-company
- Workshops
- Lecture demonstrations
- Residencies (one day to several weeks)
